Scribble & Scrap Challenge #6

Time for another new challenge over at Scribble and Scrap and as always its super easy to enter as it is Anything Goes!

Here is a candle I made using Vintage Pansy Wreath Digi stamp. Going to give it to my 92 year old Nan for Christmas!

I coloured the wreath using copics but was naughty and didn't write down the colours again! I do know that the pinks are my fave combo R81, R83, R85! I accented the flowers with glitter using Decoart glamour dust crystal and a quickie glue pen to add a bit of sparkle. I added the text myself in Word when I printed the wreath and it says To A Wonderful Nan. I added a length of ribbon around the base of the candle and added some sparkling rhinestones for some more bling!

Hope my Nans likes it as much as I enjoyed making it for her. Thank you for stopping by.

Why not stop by the rest of the DT girls blogs for lots more inspiration!

Tha Stamping Chef Challenge - Easel cards

Morning all! Brrrrrrr Winters really on its way isn't it!

Time for another challenge at The Stamping Chef and the theme this time is Easel cards, regular or double.

Here is my Sous Chef card using Lift Off!

I coloured the image with copics but forgot to write the numbers down (slaps hand!) The cloud patterned paper is from a 6x6 freebie pad from a mag a while back, I think it was called Summer Days. I also used some plain bright orange and bright green papers from my stash. The stars and planets are made using Memory Box dies and are cut from the same papers used for matting. Have also added a few extra stars around the image itself and finished the card off with a digital sentiment.

Hope you like my card and thank you for stopping by. Why not check out the other Sous Chefs blogs for lots more inspiration! Also, check TSC Store for lots of new digi's regularly appearing by the fab Tamara!

Creative Creations Challenges- Saturated Canary-Sparkle and Shine

Time for a new Team B Challenge over at Creative Creations Challenges and the lovely sponsor this time is Krista at Saturated Canary. So to be in with a chance of winning 2 fab Saturated Canary digis go get rummaging around in your stash and get that glitter out for the Sparkle and Shine theme!!

Here is my DT card for the challenge using Tidy up

I coloured her up using copics:- E000, E00,. E11. B00, B02, B04, E13, E15, E18, R81, R83, R85, E31, E33, E35.

The glittered patterned paper is from First Edition and I also used Kraft card stock. I used lots of gemstone irridescent stickles for the accents on her dress, headband and the dust around her.

The frame around the sentiment and the corner embellishment in the top left was made using Martha Stewart paper clay and MS moulds. I used stickles also over the top of these to add even more sparkle. I used a small lace doily in the bottom left and used a sparkling rhinestone in the centre of it. The butterflys are joy crafts border die. I used a selection of paper flowers in the corner and also used lots of stickles to make them sparkle! (can you tell I like glitter???? :D) The leaves were punched using MS punch.

Hope you like my sparkly card and why not stop by the rest of the DT girls for lots more inspiration. Thanks for stopping by x

Scribble & Scrap Challenge #5

Challenge number 5 is beginning over at Scribble & Scrap today! (#5 already! Where is the time going!!) Anyhow, as always the challenge is Anythings Goes so is super easy to join in with so come show us your makes!!! You could just win yourself a £15 voucher for the Scribble & Scrap shop

Here is my DT card using Vintage Floral Border

I decided to keep this card CAS and as it is Rememberance Sunday here in the UK today, I decided to make a card for someone who needs reminding that they are being though of whether it be through bereavement for 'Just Because' as we all have hard times when we need reminding we have people who care.

Using word, I created a black square frame and then added the flower corners to the square, placed them where I wanted them, which included flipping one so it fitted into the corner the right way and then printed it out. I coloured the image using copics:- R81, R83, R85, R35, R37, R39, G03, G05, G07, Y32, Y35, Y38.

I layered the printed square onto pink and dark red card from my stash and added a pink chiffon ribbon tied into a bow around the spine of the card. The sentiment was typed using word and cut and layered using spellies circle and lacy circle dies. The very thin red line around the sentiment was created by cutting the card with a circle punch which is very very slightly bigger than the circle die so creates a very thin outline.

Thanks for stopping by. We would love it if you stop by the other DT girls blogs for lots more beautiful inspiration!

TSC Challenge - Die Cuts and Ribbon

We have another new challenge starting today over at The Stamping Chef and the theme for this one is Die cuts and Ribbons. So for a chance to win 3 digi's from TSC get rooting around in those drawers for your ribbons and get winding that handle of your die cutting machine! :D

Here is my Sous Chef card using Jolene.

I coloured Jolene with copics :- E000, E00, E11, E13, E15, E18, RV21, RV23, RV25, B91, B95, B97. The papers are from a Grace Taylor paper stack, The blue behind is actually denim look and it looks much nicer close up! The die cuts used are Memory box corner and a border die along the pink strip, I think it is a Nellie Snellen Die but not certain (Its black metal). I also added a piece of ribbon along the die cut pink strip which is pink and white polka dot. I used a pink paper blossom with a large sparkling rhinestone in the centre and the digi sentiment from one of my many files! Lastly, placed some adhesive rhinestones around the corners and also within some letters in the sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by, why not check out the other Sous Chefs blogs for lots more inspiration!!
