Scribble & Scrap Challenge #17

Morning all! Can't believe how fast this year is going!!

Time for another new Anything goes Challenge over at Scribble & Scrap. Super easy to enter!

Here is my DT card using an Grungy Papers - Natural and an Aurora Wings digi stamp.

I coloured the digi using copics C1, C3, C5, C7, R85, R83, R81, R20, R22 and a green for the leaves, but can't remember which I used :/ Sorry folks! The papers are from the Grungy Florals - Natural digi paper set from S&S and I also used plain bazzill for the matting. The large flower was punched out from the same papers and bazzill using EK Success Large Retro flower punch. The butterflys are from a Martha Stewart punch, I hand stamped the sentiments and added some gems to the butterflies' centres. I also added a large sparkling rhinestone to the centre of the flower. You can't see from the photo but I have added clear stickles to the flowers on her head, her wings and the flowers on her dress to add some more sparkle!

Hope you like her! I had fun creating with her! Thanks for stopping by and do stop by the rest of the DT teams blogs for lots more fab inspiration.

The pearlescent background pattered paper is from the DCWV elegance stack and the brown is plain bazzill cardstock. I added some ribbon with a pearl heart buckle across the centre and a small doily behind the main image.

At the weekend I had had a play with my melt pot so used a frame and corners from a Martha Stewart mould that I had made. The sentiment I typed up myself in word in a matching colour to the rest of the card and stuck it behind the frame. Finally I added some pearls in the corners.

Hope you like my card. we would love it if you would drop by the other Sous Chefs blogs for lots more fab inspiration.

Kith & Kin Blog Hop with Kit & Clowder!

Welcome to our super exciting Blog hop which is being headed up by the Wonderful Alyce Keegan of Kit & Clowder. There is a live colour along starting now with Alyce over on her Kit and Clowder site which you can follow along with or at a later time as the video will be available for 2 weeks.

So if you have come across my blog by chance and want to start at the beginning, head over to Alyce's blog to start!

For my project I used the digi Jill the Mermaid which was designed specially for me by the fab Kyra Patterson of Kith & Kin. She has done an amazing stamp for all of her DT. Now for anyone who nows me, I'm obsessed with Mermaids, pink, turquoise and glitter so my project has all those things! lol I made a framed picture to hang on the wall in my craft room!

I coloured my digi using copics in my fave colours! Pink, turquoise and my matching blonde hair! Its hard to see from the picture but I have added lots of crystal glitter to the scales on her body and glossy accents to the bubbles also. When I was on my hols last year I went to Shell Island in wales and picked up lots and lots of gorgeous shells to add to my stash! So added these to the paper blooms I used, and I also added a bright pink starfish that I got in a pack of large shells that I bought at a seaside gift shop! Hope you like her as much as I do!

Now, for the rest of the hop list!
